The club face attachment's interaction with the ball creates a realistic backspin effect. When you hit the ball with the right angle and club speed, the spin generated makes the ball "bite" and roll back towards the player, after it makes contact with the landing surface. Equal to how highly skilled players create backspin on the actual course. The better you strike it, the better you'll spin it!

Great question! Flight n' Bite does not come with a club - the game leverages the use of your wedge, via a customizable clubface attachment! A 60 Degree wedge is absolutely perfect, but other lofted wedges will work too! (More Loft = Less Space Needed to Play). The most important thing is a good attitude and a real fervor to SPIN. THAT. BALL.

Flight n' Bite was designed in a 500 sq. ft. apartment, making it perfect for small spaces. The better your skills—like opening your club face, adjusting your stance, and cutting through the ball to generate spin—the less space you'll need. For beginners, more space might be required at first, but here's a good rule of thumb (assuming use of 60 degree wedge): have at least 20 feet to work with (14 feet from you to the front edge of the 6-foot landing green). If you can't make it spin back at this distance, you simply need more practice. The good news? Flight n' Bite is the perfect tool to help you master it! More Space is always recommended for more spin and extra space to swing!

If the spin pad keeps falling off, you've got some trimming to do! This happens when some part of the spin pad is hanging off the edge of the club face, making contact with the ground causing the pad to fall off. Grab the scissors, double check your lines and trim it to be flush with your club!

Great question! Here’s our answer: Both…ish. Flight n' Bite was designed primarily to be and indoor golf chipping game, but we’ve had some amazing outdoor experiences too. We often enjoy playing on patios, decks, and porches in the early mornings or late evenings and into the night—pretty ideal, if you ask us! To get the most out of it outside, just make sure you have a flat, smooth surface (like a patio or deck) for the landing green and low wind conditions. If you can check these two boxes, you’re good to go! Just remember, the Bite Balls are lightweight, so, strong wind can mess with those beautifully crafted shots!

There is minimal set up needed before you can start ripping backspin shots like Phil Mickelson. In order to accommodate many different clubs, and like Phil, dexterities, we had to leave the customization up to you! You will follow the set up instructions inside the box to create and customize your spin pad. This makes it so you have the most PERFECT fitting spin pad attachment humanely possible. Merge the Spin Pad and Magnetic Sheet, Trace your clubface, grab some scissors, cut along the dotted lines and VIOLA!
