GAMEPLAY & RULES

  • Starting a Hole

    • From the tee box, player(s) will hit each shot consecutively until finishing the hole.

    Finishing a Hole:

    • A hole is finished when you sink the ball into the hole or reach your max allotted score of bogey.
    • You will never score higher than a bogey on any hole before moving on to the next hole.

    Finishing a round:

    • After playing 9-holes the player with the least amount of strokes wins!

  • Tie Breakers: True Bogies/Playoffs

    True Bogey:

    • If the score is tied at the end of a 9-hole round, the player with more "True Bogies" wins.
    • "True Bogey" means successfully making the bogey shot vs. missing the bogey shot.
    • Missing the bogey shot is called a bogey.
    • Making the bogey shot is called a true bogey.

    PLAYOFF:

    • If the score is tied with an equal number of true bogies, players continue from hole 1 until the tie is broken via lower score or true bogey.

  • Setting Up the Cup, Flag, and Tee Box

    • Choose your course, White, Blue, or Black, and line up the straight edge of the cup with the straight line of the chosen course on Hole 1, always facing away from the tee box. *repeat consecutively through 9 holes*

    The Tee Box:

    • Begin and end each hole from the turf tee box.
    • There is no specified distance the tee box must be away from the green; the environment and skill level of the players will determine the chosen distance.

  • Additional Considerations

    • All shots must be taken consecutively from the tee box.
    • There is no minimum or maximum distance the tee box must be from the green; the environment and skill levels of the players will determine this.
    • Player 1 will hit all their shots before player 2 starts on the hole.
    • Player 2 will tend to the green and collect Player 1’s consecutive shots to clear the green before their turn - Player 1 will then return the favor.

Example Gameplay and Scoring

Ty, Ryan, Ronny, and Angela are playing a round on the White Course. Hole 1 is a par 3. From the tee box, Ty takes three shots to sink the ball, ending the hole with a par. Ryan goes next and lands his second shot in the hole for a birdie. Ronny is up now and misses four shots in a row. Since the highest possible score for any hole is a bogey, Ronny finishes the hole with a score of 4. Lastly, Angela takes her turn. She misses her first three shots, but on her bogey attempt, she sinks it. She ends the hole with a score of 4, however, Since she sunk her bogey shot, she made a "True Bogey."

At the conclusion of the hole:

  • Ryan is in the lead with a score of 2 and is one under par
  • Ty is in second with a score of 3 and sits even with par
  • Angela is in third place with a score of 4 with 1 true bogey and sits at 1 over par
  • Ronny is in last place with a score of 4 with 0 true bogies and also sits at 1 over par.

**Since Angela received a True Bogey and ronny did not, her score of 4 trumps Ronny’s score of 4**

Scores over the next 8 holes will be added cumulatively for each player. The lowest score at the end of the round wins!
